Diatomaceous Earth is an organic and safe way to control pests. Diatomaceous Earth or "DE" is the pulverized fossilic remains of microscopic shells created by single cell plants called diatoms. "DE" kills the insect by physical action, cutting the exoskeleton of the insect causing dehydration and death. Some of the many uses of "DE" include powdering on household pets, livestock feeding, sprinkling in your gardens, field crops, flower beds and grain storage.
"DE" is available in 4.4 lb. and 50 lb. bags.
